Synchrony needed to inspire the newest generation of would-be entrepreneurs: Millennials. There’s just one problem. They’re the least entrepreneurial generation in a century. But they’re curious about business, want to learn and love their earbuds. So we created a podcast and launched it like a piece of Hollywood IP. We picked Silicon Valley’s poster boy, Alexis Ohanian, to host Business Schooled and off he went, traveling the country to learn a thing or two from today’s most prolific generations of entrepreneurs: Boomers and Gen-Xers. Within the first 24 hours of its launch, Business Schooled was a Top 100 podcast on Apple, and a Top 10 in the business category.
